Introduction

Welcome to ARTLAB Collective — a heart-centered community dedicated to creative exploration through art, literature, and performance.
Our mission is to cultivate a safe and inspiring space where creativity becomes a practice of presence, curiosity, and becoming.

Participation in ARTLAB is conducted under private membership, meaning all workshops, gatherings, and offerings take place within a closed, member-based association — not open to the general public. By signing or checking agreement to these terms, you acknowledge your voluntary membership in this Private Membership Association (PMA) and your acceptance of the responsibilities and freedoms that come with it.

1. Membership Agreement

By registering for any ARTLAB Collective event, you become a Private Member of the Association for the duration of your participation. Membership grants you access to private workshops, retreats, and creative sessions hosted by ARTLAB under Namahai LLC.

All activities are conducted in the private domain for educational, artistic, and expressive purposes. You agree that your participation is voluntary and that your relationship with ARTLAB Collective is one of private membership, not of a public or commercial nature.

You may withdraw your membership at any time by written request.

2. Purpose of the Association

The purpose of ARTLAB Collective is to provide a creative and supportive environment for exploration through art, writing, and performance. Members are invited to experiment, express, and engage in personal and collective growth through hands-on creative processes.

3. Assumption of Risk

By participating, you acknowledge that creative activities may involve the use of art tools and materials, including but not limited to:

  • Sharp instruments (scissors, knives, blades)

  • Inks, dyes, solvents, resins, and alcohol inks

  • Heat tools (heat guns, ovens, presses)

  • Electrical equipment (lighting, soldering, tools)

  • Physical or emotional exertion associated with expressive practices

You assume all responsibility for your safety and agree to use care and follow all provided instructions during activities. You release ARTLAB Collective, Namahai LLC, its facilitators, team members, and property owners from any liability for injury, accident, or property damage that may occur.

4. Emotional & Creative Process Acknowledgment

ARTLAB workshops often involve reflective, emotional, and expressive experiences. You understand that creative exploration can surface strong feelings and insights, and you agree to take full responsibility for your emotional well-being throughout the process.

5. Respect & Community Conduct

ARTLAB is a supportive and inclusive environment. Members agree to:

  • Treat others with respect and confidentiality

  • Maintain a safe and nonjudgmental atmosphere

  • Refrain from harassment, disruptive, or harmful behavior

  • Follow facilitator guidance and venue safety policies

ARTLAB reserves the right to remove any participant who violates these principles, without refund, to protect the safety and integrity of the group.

6. Media Consent

Photography and short video recordings may take place during workshops to document and share the creative spirit of ARTLAB. By signing this agreement, you grant permission for your likeness and artwork to appear in group photos or media produced for ARTLAB’s website and social platforms.

If you prefer not to be photographed, you may inform the facilitator before your session begins, and your preference will be respected.

7. Refunds, Cancellations & Transfers

Because ARTLAB events require advance preparation and limited spaces:

  • Refunds are considered case by case

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event incur a 50% fee

  • No refunds within 7 days of the event start date

  • Registration is transferable to another person or one future ARTLAB date with prior approval

  • Exceptions may be made in cases of documented emergency

8. Minors Participation

ARTLAB Collective welcomes creative exploration for all ages under the following conditions:

  • Participants under 18 must have parental/guardian consent

  • A parent or guardian must remain on site during the workshop

  • Guardians accept full responsibility for the minor’s safety and participation

9. Property & Personal Responsibility

Workshops may occur on private property and may involve natural outdoor settings. Members agree to respect all boundaries, use materials responsibly, and clean up their workspace. ARTLAB is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

10. Legal Notice

This Agreement is executed under the private domain of ARTLAB Collective and governed by the laws of the State of New York.
By signing below or checking the agreement box online, you affirm that:

  • You are over 18 years of age (or have guardian consent)

  • You have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to these terms

  • You accept all responsibility for your participation
