ART LAB
Art as a way of Becoming
ART LAB
is a living space for creative exploration — a meeting point of art, literature, and performance where process matters more than perfection. It is a container for inquiry, imagination, and self-expression, held within a supportive community setting. Here we go beyond labels and concepts to access the unnamable space within — the source of our truest creativity. Through shared experimentation, reflection, and presence, we practice art as a way of becoming — a continual unfolding of who we are and what we can create together.
MEET YOUR HOST
Marianna Chaimov is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and creative guide whose work bridges the worlds of art, nature, and consciousness. She began her creative explorations at the age of nine through writing, later turning to painting and design to express what words could not reach. Over the years, she built a thriving career in the fashion and textile industry, while continuing to cultivate her own artistic practice — one that now spans visual art, writing, design, gardening, herbalism, and creative direction.
Marianna’s art has found homes in collections worldwide, yet her deepest inspiration arises from the rhythms of daily life on her homestead in the Catskills — baking sourdough bread, tending gardens, pressing flowers, working with herbs, and homeschooling her child. For her, art is not confined to a canvas or a studio — it is a way of living, seeing, and becoming.
Through ARTLAB, Marianna invites others into this space of exploration — a living practice where creativity is both a mirror and a teacher. Her workshops are immersive experiences that blend artistic play with reflective process, guiding participants to uncover their own creative language and inner landscape.
